X-Spect Limited was set up in 2005, to address the growing demand for Medical Physics (RPA) services in The Republic of Ireland. Based in Waterford, the company has a growing client base throughout the country, including dental & general practices, private hospitals, educational establishments, and industry.
Our RPA (John Upton) is on the register of qualified RPAs approved by the EPA Office of Radiological Protection & Environmental Monitoring (ORM). This is for both Category I (Medical, Dental & Veterinary), and Category II (Industrial & Educational) Practices. Both certificates are valid until 2022 and can be downloaded below. We have accumulated over 25 years of experience in Medical Physics in the Irish health service, including over 15 years experience as an RPA in both the Medical & Industrial sectors.
